Tense- काल
Tense से क्रिया का कोई रूप अथवा दो या दो से अधिक रूपों के संगठन का बोध होता है जिसका प्रयोग किसी कार्य-व्यापार के होने का समय दर्शाने में होता है ।
Tense stands for a verb form or series of verb forms used to express a time relation.
अंग्रेजी में Tense के तीन भेद हैं ।
- Present Tense- वर्तमान काल
- Past Tense- भूत काल
- Future Tense- भविष्यत काल
Tense- काल
Present Tense- वर्तमान काल
Verb के जिस रूप से वर्तमान समय का बोध हो उसे Present Tense कहते हैं ।

Present tense is divided into four parts-
- Present Indefinite Tense or Simple Present Tense
- Present Progressive Tense or Present Continuous Tense
- Present Perfect Tense
- Present Perfect Continuous Tense
